The stort continues about the Watson family, now resident in the Peak District, are called upon once again to help Herne the Hunter. The ancient spirt of the wild, combat an eveil which is threatening to destroy Peakland inhabitants both human and animal.

The children foil a deadly plat which puts many innocent lives in danger and threatens to dsrupy the Spa town of Buxton's annual well dressing carnival parade. Once again the clues are rootes in Peak District bhistoiry but the children must solve the riddle in a throughly modern way.

Peter Noon, from Buxton, story is delightfully illustrated by Derbyshire artist, Sue Prince. Best suited to children between 9 and 14 years of age.
